Interest around City Hall

City Hall sits on sixteen acres the public already owns. By the Mavericks' own account, the city manager approached the team about the site before any public process began — the timeline has the sequence. On the parking lots directly south, the city approved up to $96 million in incentives for Hoque Global's One NewPark tower in 2022 (the city's announcement).

Neither fact proves what will happen to 1500 Marilla. They do show that other parties have plans for land around City Hall while Dallas has published neither its value nor the cost of clearing it. Why follows the money →
